Rayne Manchester’s adventures in dating continue as she meets her newest suitor, Senator Archibald Bachiemer, and he makes one heck of a first impression but is it enough to grab Rayne’s attention or is he better suited for another wolf at the compound? Will wolves from her past come back into the running for her hand?

The lives of the Manchester siblings have been in turmoil since the day their father’s will has been read. All three of them must be married and mated in one year or they will lose their massive inheritance. Rayne has taken to the dating scene like a fish out of water, Rhyme believes she has the right man, and River is so busy with pack politics, taking the Colorado Alpha seat, making a peace treaty with the local witches’ coven and defeating the rogue pack that has designs of overthrowing River and owning Colorado.

This is the third installment on Rayne’s journey to true love. At the end of this adventure she will find her mate and happy ending but the world around her may go up in flames and those she loves will be changed forever. Part One, Master Chef and Part Two, The Veterinarian are available on Amazon.

So, if Rayne’s Thunder is a speed dating werewolf style series I’m doing the speed reading to catch up and I’m really liking what I’m reading. This is a great series with enough laughs and just the right amount of suspense for a novella.Rayne’s father died recently and at the reading of the will her and her siblings find out that they ALL have one year to mate or they lose the estate and subsequently the pack leadership along with it. If dad’s demands weren’t bad enough, he’s provided a list of suitable candidates for each of them. This series is about Rayne’s subsequent dating of her father’s choices for her. As things unwind, I have to wonder if dad had a clue or if perhaps in presenting so many Mr. Wrongs if he wasn’t in fact steering Rayne towards Mr. Right. Part Three: The Politician is Rayne’s brother, River’s attempt at matching her to someone suitable on her father’s list. After all, her brother is a Senator, so it makes perfect sense that she should be able to handle a politician. Right? And, Archibald Bachiemer is a friend of his so it’s not like he’s a stranger he might disapprove of.

I’ve found I really like Rayne. She can be rather feisty, particularly when it comes to dealing with Storm, her brother’s enforcer. She doesn’t like being condescended to or treated like a child. She can be funny and she’s very loving and loyal to her friends and family. Now it is time for her to grow up perhaps a bit. When she meets Archie, he’s the typical charismatic politician and he’s totally out to impress her. The problem? He goes too far in his impressing. Rayne’s a simple girl and really just wants to get to know the man instead of the politician. When he stops trying to impress her, she finds she so much more interested. However, Angel who is supposed to be with Storm is honing in on Archie. Running in the background of her latest romance is the pack’s issues with the rebel wolves. It’s time to line up their allies including repairing the rift their father created with the witches. If the heat that is generated with all the hot werewolf suitors isn’t enough, Rayne’s dreams are being invaded by an unidentifiable lover. She’s becoming worn down and no matter how good his attentions might seem something isn’t quite right in dreamland.

I really liked this third installment. I liked seeing Rayne get a better handle on what is going on in her pack and just what is at stake. Once again, Rayne learns a bit more about what she does and doesn’t want in a mate and comes to some decisions about just what she’s willing to accept. She also decides that this one at a time routine is becoming taxing so it’s time to institute the mating games. I’m so looking forward to the next installment. Things are definitely going to get more interesting. I guess you might say Rayne’s Thunder is like a werewolf speed dating series and I’m really liking it. Although I’m definitely holding out hopes for certain enforcer.
