Former SEAL Dr. Lucas McKay and his brother Alex, former FBI undercover agent have been looking for their lifetime submissive. And they may just have found her in the new Director of the Passion Lake Library. She’s sweet. She’s curvy. She’s adventurous. She’s a green-eyed, freckle-faced redhead with the world’s sexiest glasses. And she’s chock full of secrets. Not the least of which is the fact that she writes steamy BDSM romances in her spare time.

When they discover this, they offer to act as her temporary Doms, giving her lots of first-hand experiences designed to enrich her writing and make her D/s scenes more authentic and emotional. Since she’s as attracted to them as they are to her, she leaps at the chance. But she has another secret. She’s a virgin who has never done any of the kinky stuff she writes about. So she insists on two conditions. No nudity. And no sex.

Unfortunately, Lily has another, even deadlier secret. One with the potential to destroy not only her but the two men she’s come to love. Will death triumph? Or will love?

A Scorcher Of A Menage

If only the gorgeous town of Passion Lake, Virginia were real! I’d be hightailing it across the country in a heartbeat. What’s not to love about a town founded by a group of former SEAL teammates who all just happen to be hot, hunky Doms? Julie Shelton’s Doms of Passion Lake is a delicious series with a premise that will have you addicted in no time. So what if our logical, spoilsport brains know the likelihood of such a town existing is impossible? This is fantasy, dammit, and I loved every minute of it.

Lily Prescott hasn’t had an easy time of it lately.  The conservative folks of Tupelo, Mississippi discover she is BDSM Romance author Sophia Vierra.  She is promptly fired from her librarian job and run out of town by a group of bigoted zealots.  Lily’s great aunt Grace steps in, luring her to Passion Lake with the perfect job.  Grace is a hoot.  The octogenarian is a force to be reckoned with, and won’t take no for an answer.  Good thing for Lily.  Hired as the new Director of Passion Lake’s gorgeous library, Lily feels as if she’s stumbled into one of her own novels.  The job perks are awesome: a beautiful Victorian house to live in, man candy at every turn and, upon further discovery, the town is a veritable Dom superstore.  Despite the abundance of male attention in Passion Lake, Lily is plagued by insecurities.  A lifetime of being told she is overweight and unattractive has taken quite a chunk out of her self-esteem.  Writing BDSM romance novels is Lily’s escape.  Problem: none of what she writes is from personal experience.  Lily is twenty-seven and still a virgin!

Dr. Lucas McKay knows he should walk the other way when he sees the curvy redhead wearing tight jeans and sexy little wire-rimmed glasses climbing the steps to the library.  He’s not in the market for a new submissive.  Maybe never will be again.  But, damn.  She must be the new librarian.  The least he could do is welcome her to Passion Lake.  No harm in that, right?  Until he’s up close and sucked into her orbit.  Aww, hell.  Lily is a natural submissive.  It’s radiating off of her in waves, calling to all his Dominant instincts.  Likewise, when Luc’s brother Alex meets Lily he immediately falls under her spell.

Lucas and Alex always dreamed of finding a submissive to love, cherish, and share.  Unfortunately, a falling out between the brothers caused them to part ways for ten long years; Alex going deep undercover with the FBI, Lucas doing a stint as a SEAL.  Former careers now behind them, and the rift mended, Alex is on the quest to find the submissive who will complete them. And he is certain Lily is the woman.  Lucas, on the other hand, is not sure he wants to train an inexperienced sub no matter how damn adorable she is.

Lily is delightfully shy and naive.  She can’t believe these two gorgeous men are remotely interested in her! She’s smart and funny, and it’s not long before she has the courage to act out the fantasies she’s only ever written about.  I loved that she came to embrace what she previously thought of as flaws in regard to her body.

Alex and Lucas are Doms to the core. Their personalities play well off of each other.  Alex is easy going and playful.  Lucas more strict and demanding.  They are the perfect pair for Lily.

I loved Passion’s Triumph.  I am a sucker for a good menage story, and this is a winner.  Ms. Shelton’s BDSM scenes are realistic, accurate, and hot as hell.  The chemistry between Lily, Lucas, and Alex emanates off the pages.  Did I mention these three are hot as hell?  That’s not to say this is an easy journey.  Lucas’s struggle to open his heart threatens to destroy the relationship, someone from Alex’s FBI life returns bent on vengeance, and Lily’s stalkers track her down in Passion Lake.
