Brittney Sahin not only has a delightful storytelling voice, her writing quickly pulls you into this charming romance and holds on tight.Maggie is one of those all around fantastic characters you’d love to be friends with. She’s awesome; hilarious, lots of fun, not afraid to laugh at herself. Being a female in the mostly male world of sports journalism, she’s had to put up with a lot of shite. And she’s done it professionally and gracefully, refusing to compromise her morals. Being sent to Rome to write a special piece on soccer, oops football, star Marco Valenti is a bit unusual since she mostly writes about American football but, hey. It’s a trip to Italy, right? Until she learns there’s a catch. However, once she gets to know this yummy Italian athlete who can charm the gelato right out of your hands, she’s torn. Should she write an article that will put her name on everyone’s lips, or drop it for the sake of Marco’s privacy?
