A good start to a new 3 part serial.

I will only read cliffhanger books by a few favorite authors; JJ Knight (AKA Deanna Roy) is one of them. Reckless Attraction Vol. 1 gets this serial off to a good start. The story is told in first-person POV with chapters alternating between Chloe and Hudson.

Hudson and Chloe throw sparks off of each other right from the get-go when Chloe, a SpeedRide driver, picks him up and they end up going to her favorite beach spot before she takes him to his destination. Before they part they agree to meet for breakfast.

Things get pretty messed up and breakfast doesn’t happen – at least not in this first book. Witty dialogue and likeable characters combined with fast pacing are all hallmarks of JJ Knight’s writing. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series. These books will be release quickly with the final book due out in early August.
