Leta Blake has been very open about the fact that Punching the V-Card isn’t her normal type of book to write. It’s shorter than most of her books, has less angst, and it’s pretty much all about the sex – and there’s lots of it. 😊
While I know this story won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It’s definitely an insta-love story although Carl has been in love with Devon for a few years. Devon is Carl’s best friend’s older brother and Carl wants Devon to punch his v-card and teach him all about sex.
Over the course of a long weekend the two get it on over and over and over again. 😊 Both Devon and Carl discover some surprising things about themselves and what they like in the bedroom. They also develop deeper feelings for each other.
I totally took this story for what the author intended – a light-hearted, high-heat, low-angst story that I enjoyed the heck out of!
