Audio Released: August 27, 2018

Rainbow Key – an idyllic island retreat off the west coast of Florida. Think wedding destination, white sandy beaches, lurve… except at the moment Joshua is struggling to pay the electricity bill, they’ve no paying customers, and even if they did they can’t afford the repairs from the devastating hurricane that struck three years ago – and to top it off they have to take in Daniel, a grumpy businessman who has been ordered by his doctor to take some time off before he has a heart attack from too much stress.
Funnily enough, Daniel owns a very expensive hotel chain that has been trying to buy the island for the past two years. Not that Joshua knows that yet, and boy are sparks gonna fly when he thinks he’s been set up.
Of course, sparks of a different kind are also soon flying between them.
Then there’s Matt who just got let out of prison, Charlie who ran away from home, and Ben, a famous model until a devastating house fire destroyed his face.
Welcome to Rainbow Key – held together by love, family, and sticky tape.

A wonderful start to a new series!
I read and reviewed Joshua’s Rainbow when it was first released as an ebook in February 2018 and now I’ve had the opportunity to listen to this wonderful story performed by Darcy Stark, who is a new-to-me narrator. I have to say that his voice is perfect for this book (and I hope he does the rest of the series).
The various voices he does for the wide range of characters were spot on (no I’m not British but I couldn’t think of a better term to use ?). Darcy Stark brought the story back to life for me. I’m not a re-reader of books as there are just too many great books in my TBR for me to take time to re-read something – even if I loved it. However, listening to a book I’ve already read is a different story. I’m always eager to see how the narrator interprets the different characters. I thought by listening to a book I’d already read that I would be able to listen with half and ear – and that is the case with some books, but not with this one. Darcy’s voice was so compelling I found myself just as engrossed in the story as I was when I first read it.
I highly recommend this audiobook and I will be looking at more books performed by Darcy Stark.
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author but no review was required.

O Factor: Scorcher
Victoria Sue fell in love with love stories as a child when she would hide away with her mom’s library books and dream of the dashing hero coming to rescue her from math homework. She never mastered math but never stopped loving her heroes and decided to give them the happy ever afters they fight so hard for.
She loves reading and writing about gorgeous boys loving each other the best—and creating a family for them to adore. Thrilled to hear from her readers, she can be found most days lurking on Facebook where she doesn’t need factor 1000 sun-cream to hide her freckles.

Blog Tour / Review: Challenged (Vipers Creed MC #1) by Ryan Michele
Author SpotlightsGrowing up in the fast-paced and rough life of a motorcycle club wasn’t easy. Cleaning up the mess his father had made of Vipers Creed meant sacrifice. Cade ‘Spook’ Baker had given up everything to bring the club life back to what it was supposed to be: a family. The choices he made were not what he wanted, but they were necessary for the club as a whole. Second chances rarely came to Spook, so when his Trixie walked boldly into his clubhouse, the decision was made. Trixie would once again be his, this time for good.
