Synopsis

Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

Cami was born into the Savage Disciples MC, but she ventured out to build a life of her own away from the club. She’s engaged now, living a new life despite missing the bikers that raised her. Overall, she’s… fine.
Sure, fine. She’s fine with the fiancé who is more interested in position and image than the woman in his life. She’s fine with the fake people around and the suffocating passive aggression. She’s fine with the fact that she is turning to drugs to self-medicate.

A Disciple will fight like a savage for what he wants.

When Gauge tags along to visit his club brother’s daughter, he can’t believe the two women he meets: the fiery daughter of a biker and the puppet with the blank affect. And yet, they’re both Cami.
He sees the fire beneath surface, and he wants to watch it burn. He wants to rip away the man smothering her like a wet blanket. He wants to see the flames consume that cookie-cutter future-wife facade to the ground and dance with her in the flames.

When this biker clutches onto a Disciple’s daughter, there is no letting go.

Here’s to grabbing hold of life and love!

I don’t know how many you have ever been in a place in your lives where you functioned as a total shell of yourself. I know I’ve had those times. Times when you hide the real you beneath a façade forced upon you whether by a job or the people in your life. You can begin to feel totally empty and hopeless. I imagine that’s exactly how the heroine of Clutch felt. Born and raised as a wild Disciples’ daughter with a fire burning brightly at her core, Cami has become the perfect Stepford wife for all appearances. Or soon to be wife anyways . Her day is dictated from to moment she rises until she lays her head upon her pillow and the only thing getting her through her days of society high-browing is an indulgence in mind numbing drugs. Then her tough as nails, loving biker dad comes for a visit and you see the woman inside. Cami positively shines with her irreverent sense of humor, wild taste in music, skin tight clothes and in your face attitude. Talk about night and day. These are the very different women Gauge is introduced to when he accompanies her father for a visit.

Gauge, like Cami’s father, is tough as nails, been there, done that. He works hard and partakes of the club women just like any of the rest of them, that is until he meets Cami and catches her buying her mind-numbing drugs. The wild Disciples’ daughter he was introduced to fires his blood. The Stepford wife infuriates him. Someone needs to douche her fiancé from her life. Natey-boy isn’t worthy of wiping up after her let alone the devotion she shows him. But when Gauge gives her his number, he never expects to hear from her. Then she texts and life gets interesting as these two become closer entrenched in a friendship, one Gauge would like to become a hell of a lot more. For a man that won’t let any woman in and no woman on his bike things have taken a major turn. If there is one woman he could see wearing his patch, it’s Cami. If she would just let go of her façade and join the world of the living. But it’s going to take a bit of a shake up for that to happen and Gauge is just the man to rattle her cage.

Clutch was a hot read, from the raunchy texts to the steamy sex. Gauge and Cami are a package deal. But lest you wonder where the danger and action typical of an MC romance are, not to worry. Clutch is rather light on these elements but they are there in the underlying story arc. Seems the club is under someone’s scrutiny and the danger is going to amp up before we get our HEA. If you like MC romances, Clutch is a great start to the new Disciples’ Daughter series which centers on the women that grow up in the club. I’m looking forward to picking up Shift, the second in the series, out now.
