Paranormal Romantic Suspense at its best!

What do you get when a feral hybrid cat shifter pounces on a protective special forces soldier? Well if Ms. Tyler is telling the tale then you have one very hot & suspenseful paranormal romance. As usual, this latest release in the X-Ops series is a great read.

After escaping tortuous imprisonment and experimentation, Minka winds her way down out of the mountains into a small village in Tajikistan only to be set upon by a group of would-be rapists. After her harrowing experience at the hands of mad scientists the cornered beast that now resides inside her wasn’t about to be any one’s prey again. In the bloody aftermath, the dirty disheveled waif found solace in the arms of her would-be rescuer, Sergeant Angelo Rios. Where no other man quiets her beast, her guardian angel’s touch and scent soothe her. For the first time in ages, the quiet translator is able to find a measure of control.

When Angelo finds that the small woman his special forces team has rescued cannot maintain her humanity without him, he very quickly becomes her knight protector. Whether this stalwart soldier is ready or not, he soon finds himself helplessly in love with the beautiful hybrid. Knowing what a hotbed of politics and hidden agendas the DCO, a covert government agency is, Angelo is reluctant to hand over his charge without ensuring her safety. In short order, though, machinations are afoot and the two are neck deep in a dangerous covert mission that takes them back to the beginning of things.

Like most of the books in this series, Her Fierce Warrior isn’t an overly long novel. In fact, it’s absolutely perfect for a Sunday afternoon read. The characters and storyline are engaging. If you’re partial to hot military alphas and feisty shifter heroines that quickly learn to stand on their own two feet, Her Fierce Warrior is sure to please.
