A totally enchanting trip down the rabbit hole
What an amazing read! I actually hesitate to say much about the characters or the plot for fear of giving away spoilers. Dee is positively endearing. The story starts with her having been left behind in Oz when the wizard left and she has misplaced her ruby slippers. Oh no!
Twisted is the journey she embarks upon to find her way home and the wonderful people she meets along the way… Samuel, a winged lion, Aeris, Samuel’s witch grandmother, Jasper, the ruler of the Tin men, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Then, of course, there are the not so wonderful people such as the Queen of Hearts.
Ms. Montgomery writes a descriptive and enchanting tale that paints a picture in your heart. While this story plays on aspects of the original Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland it is so very unique in the way it blends the two and yet maintains that larger than life fairy tale aspect of the originals. If you’re expecting the tried and true classical ending put your expectations away. This story is just bit more mature. There is a romance or two. I totally loved it. I would recommend it for the young adult and adult who loves a great fairy tale and fantasy. This one is will grab you and suck you down the rabbit hole to the final page and have you wanting to return.

I outbid those pieces of trash, and pound two of them into the dirt for disrespecting her.
