Stuck With You By Jay Northcote
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Holiday, Christmas, GLBTQ, MM
Released: November 23, 2018
Publisher: Jay Bird Press
Cover Design: Garrett Leigh @ Black Jazz Design

Two clashing colleagues stuck together for Christmas—will opposites eventually attract?
Patrick has been single since he broke up with his cheating ex almost a year ago. With Christmas looming, he’s resigned to spending it alone with only memories of happier times for company. When a business trip with a co-worker leaves them stranded in the Lake District due to heavy snow, it seems Patrick will have company for Christmas after all. It’s a shame his companion is Kyle, who’s undeniably attractive, but annoying as hell.
Aware of Patrick’s reluctant admiration, Kyle basks in the attention even though Patrick isn’t the type of man he normally goes for. Averse to relationships after being hurt in the past, Kyle enjoys the occasional hook up, but has given up on seeking anything more meaningful.
Stuck together, their antagonism escalates along with a heavy dose of sexual tension until it finally ignites. What starts as a Christmas fling soon feels like something special; but will their tentative connection melt away as the snow thaws? If they’re going to take a chance on finding happiness together, they’ll have to put their differences aside and learn to trust one another.
Contains: enemies-to-lovers, snowball fights, bickering, spanking, a cute dog, a wise old lady, mistletoe, and a happy ending (of course).
Length: 53,000 words

A good enemies to lovers story.
Stuck With You was a fun story to read. Patrick and Kyle are coworkers who grate on each other and don’t get along. While they find each other attractive neither of them acts on that attraction until they are forced to spend the night together after their car breaks down and a snow storm delays their return home from a business meeting.
I enjoyed this forced proximity/enemies to lovers story but it felt like things happened a bit too quickly in some ways. These two guys really, really, didn’t get along a work – to the point that their boss called them in and told them they needed to quit their sniping at each other. Being forced to share a bed because of the storm, they do give into their lust and then discover they both like a bit of spanking kink; the ensuing sex scenes were hot.
I think my favorite part of this story was how they interacted with the little old lady who gave them shelter after their car broke down and the shop keeper who told them that she had a place they might be able to rent. Patrick and Kyle worked together to help Mrs. Wilcox and she helped them to see that they cared for each other more than they realized.
The nice long epilogue at the end lets us know how Patrick and Kyle are doing 8 months later and I loved reading about how they were doing together.
