Angelo Giordano and Dylan Hart are more in love than ever, but their reality is far from ideal. With Dylan working in London, and Angelo recovering from chronic illness in Cornwall, they rarely spend more than few nights under the same sky.
Dylan is struggling. Being apart from Angelo is killing him, and he’s at the end of his rope. Angelo can’t live in London anymore, but can Dylan give up his whole life and move to a place that often feels like the end of the world?
As the end of a tough year approaches, they reach a crossroads. Dylan returns to Cornwall for Christmas and Angelo can’t imagine watching him leave again. Can the love that surrounds them on Whisper Farm show them the way home?

Great to see how Dylan and Angelo are doing.
I really loved this story but you should know that you really need to have read at least the first book in the Skins series, Dream, before you read this one. You’d probably love Crossroads even more if you’ve read all of the others first. I haven’t read books 2 & 3 but I now plan to go back and read them.
I can’t really review Crossroads without mentioning a bit about Dream where we first met Dylan and Angelo. They met in a sex-club where they had an anonymous hookup resulting in explosive sex. They meet again later in real life when Angelo visits a consumer financial service to help him with all of his debts. They struggle to have a relationship as they both have their personal issues and quirks and we find out that Angelo has a debilitating chronic condition. They manage to overcome all of that and the story ends with an HEA.
I know that Dylan and Angelo make appearances in books 2 and 3, Whisper and Believe, so I suspect that Crossroads may tie up somethings for Dylan and Angelo that came up in those books. In any case, like I said earlier, you don’t need to have read Whisper and Believe to read Crossroads. I loved these guys so much that when I finished Dream I was so happy that I had Crossroads to read so I’d have another chance to visit with them.
The blurb for the book really tells you what you need to know about the story. Dylan and Angelo have been separated due to their jobs and it’s hurting their relationship. I love how they managed to work everything out so they both can be happy. Crossroads was just a really great story and a great chance to revisit with all of the couples who have appeared in the series. If you’ve read Dream and/or the other books in the series you won’t want to miss getting Crossroads.

C L Chapter BooksWhat’s a fairy tale with a princess without a HEA? I loved this story for its combination of fairy tale and paranormal but then I really thought about it. What classical fairy tales have I read that didn’t have an element of the paranormal?
