Released: Available Now
Publisher: Self-Published
Series: Point Shot, Book 1
Length: 3 hours

Victor Kalinski, all-star forward for the Boston Barracudas, is one of the biggest jerks in professional hockey. Before long his aggressive attitude gets him shipped off to play in the minor leagues. Furious, he takes to the ice with equal amounts of skill and scathing sarcasm, which doesn’t win him any friends—except for good-natured alternate captain Daniel Arou. He won’t take any of Vic’s crap, and he won’t take no for an answer. But Vic’s trouble-making is pulling his career one way while Dan’s talent is pushing his in the other. However much they scorch the sheets, they might soon be separated by more than Vic’s fear of being hurt.

Victor is the man everyone loves to hate and then love.
I didn’t become acquainted with V.L. Locey’s books until after The Point Shot Trilogy was released. So I had never read the individual books or the boxed set. I’m not sure how I would have felt about Two Man Advantage if I’d read it – Victor really isn’t a nice man at all at first – but I loved the audiobook.
Sean Crisden used the perfect “I don’t give a *uck” voice for Vic and his voice for Dan is simply dreamy. While I love audiobooks, they don’t often invoke the same emotions for me that I experience while reading. This was not the case with Two Man Advantage. The last chapter had me practically sobbing because it was so moving.
The blurb for the book nails it – Victor isn’t an easy man to love but Dan sees through all of his crap and finds a man worth the effort. I can’t wait to listen to the remaining books in this series; they are planned for release in 2020.
Two Man Advantage has a satisfying HFN (happy for now) but I definitely want to know more about Vic and Dan. My only dilemma now is: do I wait for the audiobooks or do I finish the trilogy now so that I find out how their relationship is coming along? 😊

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, yoga, belly laughs, walking, reading and writing lusty tales, Greek mythology, Torchwood and Dr. Who, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.) She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, a pair of geese, far too many chickens, and two steers.
When not writing spicy romances, she enjoys spending her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania with a cup of fresh java in one hand and a steamy romance novel in the other.
