Series: Signs of Love, Book 1

A new person will enter your life in the early year, Leo. Look past any moments of frustration they might bring and laugh—this could be the start of a thriving friendship.
Theo Wallace usually laughs at the horoscopes his mom sends. Still hung up on his ex-girlfriend and practically friendless, this one begs him to reconsider. Because a friendship that stuck, that thrived…
Well, that would be a reason to leave past pains behind and look to the Bright Future.
When his sister Leone challenges him to find her the perfect date for a spring wedding, Theo uses it as a chance to make new friends. Theo’s ex economics tutor and newest roommate Mr. Jamie Cooper seems to be a possible and convenient match. Real convenient. Like written in the stars, convenient.
All he has to do is make sure this Jamie is good enough. Could really be The One for her, and the friend for him.
But watch out, Leo, the stars have a surprise in store…

Such as good book! Different from other things I’ve read.
The author describes Leo Loves Aries as a “sweet, slow burn, M/M romance with HEA” and I couldn’t agree more – I loved it. This was the first book I’ve read by Anyta Sunday but I hope to read more soon. Before I read the book, the title puzzled me just a bit but then I started reading and realized it referred to astrological signs and I found the little references to that throughout the story to be quite clever.
When Theo Wallace and his sister, Leone, take Jamie Cooper on as a roommate Theo thinks he might be the perfect match for his sister. It takes Theo a really long time to catch on that Jamie is interested in him, not Leone.
This book made me smile and also shed a few tears which is just the type of story that I really like. This one also has several of my favorite M/M tropes: GFY, college students and friends-to-lovers.
This was a feel-good story for me. It was also a bit unusual for an M/M romance in that the first kiss didn’t happen until 59% of the way through and the first sex didn’t happen until 69%. Once they finally get together things are pretty spicy. Jamie is an absolute dream of a boyfriend; he takes such good care of Theo both as a friend before they become involved and later as a lover. He also helps Theo overcome one of his biggest fears.
Don’t miss the fantastic follow-up short story, Leo Tops Aries, currently available for free on Amazon.com.

A born and raised New Zealander from Wellington, I’ve been exploring the literary world since I started reading Roald Dahl as a kid. Stories have been piling up in my head ever since. Fast forward to my mid-twenties and jump a few countries (Germany, America, and back again), I started to put them to paper.
My genre of choice is romance, both adult and YA, gay and straight. You can take a closer look at my books, available as e-books for download in many formats!
