Merryn Dexter is my go-to author for beautifully written, creative and sexy paranormal romance novellas. Her Black Hills Wolves and Hot Moon Rising shifter stories are absolutely amazing.    Now, she’s lured me into the Wiccan Haus!  And you’ll hear no complaints from me.  Soul of Flame, her first contribution to the series, is fabulous.  Renewed Spirits is even better.  I fell hard for Raegan and Sam.

I love everything about the mysterious island resort called Wiccan Haus.  What makes this place so compelling is that it welcomes paranormals as well as humans for healing and recuperation.  The group of healers who run the resort is aware that Wiccan Haus is often the last option for cursed, wounded, or broken souls, and they take their jobs to heart.   Raegan comes to Wiccan Haus truly believing she is broken.  Her husband has told her as much over and over until she can’t see beyond his lies.  Raegan arrives a timid little mouse.  But under the guidance of her healers soon reveals the sexy, confident woman that has been in hiding for years.  Sam is weary of the meaningless one night stands his incubus nature compels him to seek as he searches for his true mate.  After three hundred years he is no closer to finding her.  His incredible good looks and sexuality give the illusion that he wants for nothing.  However, incubi are looked down upon in the para world, and Sam desperately needs the safety and serenity offered by the resort.

Once again, Merryn Dexter has created a story that will suck you in and hold on tight.  Wiccan Haus, the healers, Raegan and Sam come to life in glorious detail.  This novella packs a huge amount of emotion and sizzling chemistry into a quick read that will, at once, leave you satisfied and wanting more. Renewed Spirits is so good I wanted it to keep on going for another hundred or so pages!
