Love the story, love the audio performance.
I’ve read all of the Texas series books and LOVED them. Texas Gift was just that – a gift to all of the fans of RJ’s Texas series. Note: this series really needs to be read in order. If you are a fan of the Texas series you probably have already read this book. I just want to add that the audiobook made the story come alive for me all over again.
Sean Crisden’s gave another outstanding performance. The voices he does for this series live in my head and when I think of Jack and Riley I also think of Sean Crisden.
Box of tissue warning: Texas Gift hit on all of my emotions. If a book makes me cry that’s a sure sign that I love it. Well, I bawled my eyes out reading a lot of this story. A little because there were some sad things but mostly because I was happy (yes, I’m a happy crier). I was very glad I wasn’t out in public while I listened to this. Having my hubby give me the side-eye is bad enough. ?
